M'zab Valley in South of Algeria abounds with numerous libraries along with different public and private manuscript cabinets.

In almost all the seven M’zab villages there are plenty of heritage treasures from rare manuscripts, documents and publications.

This paper intends to shed some lights on the manuscript cabinets particularly in El- Atteuf or “Tajnint”; the oldest village of M’zab Valley in addition to the Rewriting Manuscript Movement.

By doing so; this paper focuses on the most important reservoirs in an attempt to provide some helps for researchers in this area of study such as the bookcase of “The Pupils’ House” (Teddart N Erwen), Al- Bikri’s Bookcase (Sheikh Omar Ibn Abdurrahman Bakelli), Sheikh Omar Ibn Hammou Bakelli’s bookcase, and others by trying to analyze their precious contents according to their branches of arts.

The researcher hopes that this paper will provide a significant addition for researchers who are interested in manuscripts heritage of M'zab Valley in particular and Algeria in general.
