تحليل كتب المستويات الثلاثة المبتدئة في مركز اللغات بالجامعة الأردنية في ضوء أسس إعداد الكتب التعليمية للناطقين بغير العربية

الملخص EN

The aim of the study was to analyze the books used in the three elementary levels taught to non-native speakers in the department of Teaching the Arabic Language as a second language to non-native speakers in The Center of Languages at the University of Jordan.

The aim is to assess the quality of the writing process, highlight the weaknesses and strengths of the books, and how these books will meet the needs of the learners at the Center of Languages while taking into consideration the learners’ distinct cultural and educational backgrounds.

The analysis is done following the recognized instruction and pedagogical methods in the field to publish books for language teaching especially those books used in teaching the Arabic Language to non-native speakers.

The analysis of the books has been conducted in the following steps : 1- The preparation of the books 2- How the subjects are presented 3- The linguistic content 4- The cultural content 5- Syntax and morphology 6- Drills 7- General comments The study followed a critical and descriptive method in analyzing those books while taking into consideration the nature of the language teaching programs and the students enrolled in them.

The overall objective is to assess how well those books follow the recognized instruction and pedagogical methods in writing and publishing books for teaching and learning, and to give commentaries and useful reviews on how the books could be improved.
