Epistemology is usually viewed as the most objective and rational discipline in term of judgments and thesis according to its subject and methodology.

The subject of epistemology is science, the model of knowledge characterized by a high degree of integrity and commitment to facts and not self-judgments and personal ambitions.

These features in science affect inevitably in epistemology and give her a close scientific character.

More than this, epistemology in its approach is close to the spirit of science by using specific methods like logic and psychology using the historical and anthropological approaches.

At first glance, it seems that epistemology is the closest to objectivity and neutrality among the most philosophical disciplines, but an extensive study of the epistemologists life and their mutual relationships, both at the personal and professional levels, dispels some of these judgments and illusions concerning the objectivity of epistemological studies.

In this article, we’ll try to explain how personal relations affect in epistemological attitudes and how this specialization is less objective than that we have always imagined through Popper, Lakatosh and Feyerabend studies.
