The aim of this study is to show the effects of the decline in oil prices on some economic indicators and the consequent impact of this decline on the economies of the countries exporting and producing oil and even the importing countries.

Oil prices have fallen by about 55% since September 2014 to reach $ 49.5 / barrel in 2015 and $ 40.7 / barrel in 2016 according to the report of the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries and OPEC reports.

It is estimated that the decline in oil prices was driven by factors Supply and demand.

We will discuss the effects of the decline in oil prices on both interest rates, currency values, public finance and equity markets.

In two axes, we present in the first axis the development of oil prices and the factors affecting them.
