استخدام الانحدار في تحديد بعض العوامل المؤثرة في تحصيل الطلبة في مبحث العلوم للصف العاشر الأساسي

The aim of this study was to use the simple and multiple regression in determining some factors affecting students' achievement in science, the study sample consisted of (405) male and female students who were selected in the manner of random cluster ,where they responded to a tool consists of three parts: the Part one: includes multiple intelligence scale to measure the intelligence of students, and the Part two: includes a measure of students motivation toward science, and the Part three: includes a measure of atittude of the students about science.

The results indicated that the degree of motivation variable contribution in explaining the variation contrast student achievement vs.

science amounted to 55 %, where the variable contribution of intelligence accounted for 7 %.

While the variable contribution students atittude toward science has reached a rate of 2 %, and Finally, the gender variable contribution amounted to 1 %, so that the contrast provided by the interpreter of both variables (motivation, intelligence, attitude, gender) all of them have reached a rate of 65 %.
