The research paper aims to analyze the reality of the Algerian industrial sector by addressing the industrial strategies applied especially after the oil shock, in order to analyze the results achieved by the national industry in recent years, by following several basic indicators, mainly the contribution crude domestic product, the role of the sector in the creation of jobs, in addition to its contribution to the promotion of exports outside hydrocarbons.

despite the fact that Algeria has been pursuing several recent development policies aimed at developing its economy, it has not achieved the desired goal because of the structural imbalances in its industrial sector and the lack of incorporating development policies in an effective manner, as demonstrated by the inability of this sector to diversify industrial production , the reduction of the import bill, as well as the promotion of industrial exports outside the hydrocarbon sector.
