Universities play a key role in the development process because they are responsible for meeting the needs of the community of manpower equipped with intellectual and professional skills and are responsible for comprehensive development, which facilitates the acceptance of social change and improve the effectiveness of administrative leadership, especially in all sports fields and the exercise of sports activities , made by the system that handles education and learning and reorganizing and equipping them with modern skills and technology.

The research aims to : Identify the decision-making and the quality of performance of sports coaches.1 The relationship between decision-making and the quality of performance of sports coaches.2 The research has been limited to sports coaches in the middle Euphrates and the southern region.

The research sample included (213) sports coaches.

The researcher sought to build two scales and follow the scientific steps in their construction, and extracted the psychometric properties in the indicators of validity and reliability .The researcher has used the appropriate statistical methods to achieve the objectives of his research using the statistical package SPSS in extracting the results of the research
