The current study aims at investigating the effect of feedback table and the pyramid of preference strategies in the achievement of second intermediate pupils in Arabic grammar.

The study was done in Iraq – Baghdad governorate, AlRusafa second educational Centre.

The researcher adopted the experimental design with partial control having two experimental methodology was adopted by the researcher in this study.

The society of this study represents the intermediate schools which belong to AL-Rusafa second educational Centre, where the researcher identified the sample of the present study in a random way by means of selecting one of the schools (Palestine intermediate school for boys) which belongs to AlRusafa second educational Centre.

The number of pupils in the two experimental groups was 70 (after deleting some members), whereas the control group included 35 pupils.

Thus, the total number of pupils in three groups was 105 pupils, and the pupils were distributed into four sections.

The two sections of the experimental groups were randomly chosen to study according to the strategies of feedback table and the pyramid of preference, while another section was also randomly chosen to study according to the traditional method of teaching Arabic grammar.

The researcher compared the three groups statistically, where results showed that the three groups were statistically equal.

The researcher employed the required statistical tools in his study (which included T-test for two separate samples, Pearson coefficient factor, Kai square, Sheffie test) for postcomparison of results of the post-test for the two experimental groups and the third control group.

After applying the test, results showed that the first experimental group (which was taught according to the strategy of feedback table) was better than the control group.

Furthermore, the second group (which was taught according to the strategy of the pyramid of preference) also achieved better results than the control group.

Based on the findings and results of the present study, the researcher presented some conclusions which state that: 1.

Feedback tables help pupils to understand Arabic grammar in intermediate schools.

2.

The pyramid of preference showed its positive impact in increasing pupils' understanding studying in this strategy.

3.

Pupils' achievement increases when teachers of Arabic grammar employ the strategies of feedback table and the pyramid of preference in teaching the grammar of Arabic language.

4.

The feedback table and the pyramid preference showed the ability of teachers of Arabic language in helping pupils to achieve a better understanding of the grammar of Arabic language.

Based on these findings, the researcher presented his recommendations and suggestions for the present study and for future researchers.
