The present study was conducted to determine the effect of a drug pentostam on laboratory animals infected with diabetes and Leishmania donovani, it is done through the use of criteria blood and tissue sections of the liver and spleen and the comparison group of negative control, mice treated group showed the drug and substance alloxan and infected parasite that there was no significant difference (p < 0.05) in the total number of red blood cells and a significant decrease (p < 0.05) in the neutrophil and acidophilus and lymphocytes and recorded a significant decrease (p < 0.05), while lymphocytes showed moral high (p < 0.05) in the total number of cells, white blood while only monocyte and basophil did not record any significant differences (p < 0.05) for all groups as well as histological sections of the liver and a clear expansion in the Hepatic sinusoids with the multiplication of Cofer cells and infiltration clear of inflammatory cells of the type Eosinophil and Phagocyte showed Lama's spleen observed the amyloid gathered around the white pulp with a multiplication of red pulp with the disappearance septa within the lymphoid tissue and the presence of giant cell nucleus and the exhaustion of a clear white pulp.
