The study of the concept of Locus of control and Level of Aspiration are important topics and represent a wide area in the educational and psychological sciences, which gives importance to this study at the present time.

The difficult and complex conditions Kurdish human experienced, in all age categories; social classes, and so what political changes and economic and social direct impact on human .Increased stress rate and hardship ,flying turn of psychological disturbance ,physical transformation without individual sound compatibility affects their personality and leads to an imbalance in some of the important devices in their personality.

The research aimed to identify the Level Locus of control at Sulaimaniyah University students.

Also to identify their level of Aspiration (academic and vocational) according to variables; sex, grade, and a course of study, and place of residence to know the relation between the Locus of control and the level of ambition of Sulaimaniyah University students.

211 students were selected in a random way.

The sample consisted of 98 male and 113 female students, divided into four colleges: Nursing, Basic Education, Science Education, and Faculty of Humanities) at University of Sulaymaniyah morning classes in the academic year (2015-2016).

The researcher used the test setup site prepared by (Naowski) and translated into Arabic environment by (Mohammed Shehata spring, 2009).

The test consists of 32 items, and this Scale had virtual honesty indicators, as it is steadiness retest way was(%71) degree.

The researcher used in this research the level of ambition, prepared by Al-Jubouri Scale (2002) which consists of 40 items : (20) academic ambitious items and (20) professional ambition items, The answers are five alternatives which applies to: (always, often, greeted, rarely, it never apply to).

This scale had virtual honesty indicators, as its way of firming retail midterm amount was (%78) degree.

The study concluded the following main conclusions: the students at Sulaymaniyah University consider themselves partially responsible for the administration of their lives.

Also they have a high level academic and professional ambition.

It did not find a moral significance between the Locus of control of Sulaymaniyah University students differences in the disciple of Locus of control according to : sex, grade, course of study, profession and place of residence, Also it found a moral sign between the different scores average of Sulaymaniyah University students test level of ambition (Academic and professional) due to the sex variable and for the benefit of the second stage students, Also lack of a moral difference is significant between the students scores average at University of Sulaymaniyah test level of ambition (academic and vocational) due to the profession and place of residence .It found a significant relation between the Locus of control and level of ambition (academic and professional) of Sulaimaniya University students.

In light of these findings the researcher presented a number of recommendations and proposals.
