This study aims to clarify the importance of renewable energies as one of the main sources of global energy other than traditional energy, as it is clean and non-polluting energy to the environment, which makes it very important in supporting the dimensions of sustainable development, which we try to highlight through this study by highlighting the role that Alternative energies play a role in achieving sustainable development, in addition to analyzing the reality of investment in renewable energies in Algeria.

To answer the problem of the study was the use of descriptive analytical method based on a set of articles, studies and research related to the subject of the study, one of the most important results we have reached in this study that despite the real investment in the field of renewable energies and the embodiment of projects in the field of renewable energies in Algeria, However, it still has not reached the level of succession of traditional sources, ie depleted energies and polluting the environment, and can not succeed in the near term, and one of the most important recommendations we came out in this study that the support of the State to pay attention to this type of projects through grants Financial or fiscal privileges for domestic and foreign investors, which strongly support the success of these projects, and impose fines and penalties for projects polluting the environment.
