The journalisme has been a men's profession, because it has been associated with troubles and challenges, but women have increasingly penetrated this profession in the world, and so is Algeria.

In the 1990 the written press was characterized by media pluralism, which greatly contributed to the enrolment of many women journalists .

Female has also increased to study information and communication sciences in universitiesand institute.but the academicstudies in Algeria have not paid attention to this phenomenon.

This paper invites us to follow the history of Algerian women's entry into journalism and then attempt to reveal the specificities and circumstances of their media practice through a field study on a sample of 190 female Algerian journalists
