This research aims to track the movement of old criticism and rhetorical opinions about the verse line of Bashar bin Burd,The eruption of dust above their heads along with our swords are similar to a night with falling planetsThis is because it is one of the important quotations in the context of the versification theory that Abdul-Qaher al-Jarjani is renowned for.

Given the targeted critical and rhetorical material, the research attempts to demonstrate the ability of the former rhetorical specialists and critics to employ poetic texts and other things in revealing the levels of speech, especially as they cited these texts, analysedthem in a versifiedway and showed their poetic features.

In their view, this had the effect of distinguishing the sacred text with its literary characteristics from other types of texts
