The demand for utilities is enormous in commerce.

However, utilities are not recognized unless correspond for a known asset as work or goods.

Thus, utility equals wealth and even sometimes more valuable.

Since utilities represent a considerable part of the individual needs in the community, recently several Islamic banks established programs to finance a variety of utilities such as education, health care, and travel.

Therefore, this study aimed at evaluating current utilities that are financed by islamic banks and contracts that are utilized by these programs.

In addition, the study suggests the use of Al-Musharaka as an alternative Islamic contracts to finance utility products that is complying with Islamic Shariah and rules.The study revealed that the utility's financing programs in the Islamic banks and institutions are limited without serving the wide-range of individuals' needs in the community.

The lending contracts "Murabaha and Ijara are the leading instruments used for utilities financing in the Islamic banking.

Finally, the role of the islamic banks and establishment in economic development should be enhanced through implementing the investment contracts such as Musharaka.

Implementation of the protocols of this contract is expected to decrease the cost of the utilities and at the same time will increase the benefits and the profits of the banks away from fakeness in transactions.

The study strongly recommends the implementation of Musharaka in the utility's financing programs in the islamic banks because of the expected advantages to both society and banks.
