This article aims to highlight the relationship between the television programs distinated to children and their influences on some child’s values and behaviors.

In the context of current global telecommunicational technological developments and the spread of the use of satellites in the field of television broadcasting, public and private satellite channels have become numerous, which gave the receiver the right to choose what, when and where he wants to watch and even with or without a group.

Thus, under a highly competitive global environment between satellite TV stations, to acquire the largest number of receivers, aiming to achieve their objectives, these stations are dedicated to the category of children through broadcasting 24 hours programs dedicated solely to children.

But what is to notice in the Arab region, is that the majority of the satellite channels are private, using imported programs basically Western production either American or Japanese especially cartoons.

This may influence the children values and behaviors the Arab region, including Algeria, as long as it does not have programs that are produced locally.

The child is thus obliged to follow these channels whose owner is local, but the content is Western.
