This study attempts to shed light on the foundations of the economic policy pursued by the Prophet (PBUH) in building and developing the economy of Madinah, and how he dealt with the problem of poverty.

The study dealt with the economic situation in Medina before the migration in the first section, then reviewed the prophetic policy in the development and construction of Medina economy in the second section, and touched on the prophetic policy in the treatment of poverty in the third section.

The study found that the Prophet(PBUH) was able to lay the cornerstone of a major economic revolution, to solve the various economic problems that faced the new state, and enabled him to manage its economic and trade affairs, in accordance with a unique approach combining efficiency and justice, made the economy servant to society after the community was the servant of the economy in pre-Islamic times.

It is the approach that humanity needs most today to get justice, peace and a balanced harmonious growth in the world.
