The purpose of this paper is to examine the impact of climate change on food security in sub-Saharan Africa, Where climate change poses a major threat to food security in these countries through food availability, accessibility, use, affordability and consumption.

In view of this, climate change, especially global warming, has been found to affect agricultural crops, fisheries and livestock.

The ability of countries in the region to adapt and protect food depends on the need to adopt an integrated policy approach to the protection of agricultural land from global warming and conservation of fisheries, which is a challenge for them and developing countries as a whole.
