the current descriptive study aimed to identify the nature of the relationship between the personality- big five factors , self-efficacy and psychological resilience, the differences between delinquents and non-delinquents on those variables, as well as predictability with self-efficacy and psychological resilience by big five factors.

among a sample of (200) juvenile delinquent and non delinquent , their ages ranged (13-18 ,M 16.2 ، S.D.

1.098) years.

Who were administered two measures (self-efficacy and psychological resilience).

main results revealed delinquents are more neurotic than non delinquents by significant differences (0.01) .

On the other hand, non delinquents have a high levels of Extraversion , Openness to-Experience , Agreeableness , Conscientiousness , self-efficacy ,and psychological resilience more than delinquents, by significant differences (0.01) .

Results refer to Extraversion , openness to experience, and conscientiousness can be predictors of self-efficacy, but Extraversion and agreeableness can be predictors of psychological resilience among non-delinquents.

The study recommended the importance of enhancement the self-efficacy and psychological resilience among of the children and providing an appropriate atmosphere in the shelters regarding to positive impact on their characteristics and their psycho-social adaptation towards stressful situations , and the need to pay special attention to adolescent- counseling programs and reinforce positive traits in their personalities
