The promotion of investment opportunities is the real gateway to reach the target groups of investors, so it is not possible to attract foreign invested capital unless there is a clear mechanism through which the definition of the nature of the investment climate; This study is intended to highlight the basic concepts of this type of industry and to determine its impact on the flow of foreign direct investment in Algeria.

The study concluded that Algeria has implemented promotional policies within economic reforms that have had a positive impact on the development of foreign direct investment.

However, this size remains insufficient compared to the large potential available in this field, Therefore, a set of requirements should be proposed for the promotion apparatus to attract foreign direct investment to Algeria
