The investigation is considered as a science, which differed methodologically within those who fought in this field.

Each researcher has his or her own way of dealing with the manuscript, depending on the circumstances surrounding this process.

And therefore, this investigation is closely linked with the quality of the manuscript investigated, in terms of scientific material and size of the difficulties faced by the investigator.

However, it did not stand like a stumbling block to the battle of this science, which is one of the most difficult sciences.

In this paper, I came across the methodology of Rabah Bounar, may God have mercy on him, who tackled the achievement of the manuscript of "The Famine of Constantine" by Salih Al- Entari, including the tools he followed in this investigation.

Moreover, he will state whether it was sufficient to ignore the other, while trying to explain the objective reasons that led to the adoption of that methodology.

So, what obstacles he encountered during his achievement of the Constantine Famine? This is the most important axes that attracted me, and I will try in this paper to follow the methodological steps taken by the investigator in order to produce this manuscript as intended by the author.
