أثر برنامج تدريبي في تنمية مهارات العناية الصحية بالأطفال التوحديين للقائمين على رعايتهم بمراكز التوحد و علاقتها ببعض المتغيرات في عينة أردنية

This study aimed to measure the effectiveness of a training program in improving the health care skills for workers in autism centers with autistic children, in AL Balqa.

In addition to that, the study aimed to recognize the relation between the effectiveness of the program and the variable of qualification.

The researcher built a scale to measure the health care skills for workers with autistic children which consisted of (53) items divided into five main domains (physical health, psychological, ecological, nutritional health, and adaptive behavior).

The scale was applied on a sample study consisted of (16) female workers in special education centers who were divided evenly into two control group and experimental group, each group consisted of (8) members.

To analyze the results, the researcher used(T-test) to detect the differences between the two group and (2-way ANOVA).

The results showed that there were significant differences at the level (a<0.05) between the experimental and control groups for the experimental group, refers to the training program on the health care skills scale The results of the study agrees with (Ghoneim et al; 2004), (Sheikohleslam, et al; 2004), (Falks and Henequen, 2008) and (Al Lahibi, 2009).

On other hand, the study showed that there were no significant differences at the level (a < 0.05) between the experimental and control groups on the health care skills scale refers to the worker qualification
