Turkey is one of the world's most attractive destinations for tourists because of its geographical and cultural characteristics and strong infrastructure.

Turkish citizens are characterized by an advanced culture of travel and tourism both inside and outside the country.

This study aims to identify the status and reality of internal tourism in Turkey during the past five years.

It was concluded by analyzing the data related to this, that Turkey includes many types of internal tourism carried out by the internal tourist between the visit, the holiday, through culture and medicine, attendance at scientific or commercial meetings on the other hand, and recording an increase in the number of internal tourist trips during the study period, accompanied by an increase in the rates of accompanying tourism expenditure.
