t is argued that the tendency of individuals to establish small and medium enterprises will bring socio-economic benefits of both local communities and nations.

Consequently, entrepreneurship has become one of the most important factors to enhance economic conditions in many countries around the world including Algeria.

Due to oil prices declining, Algeria became forced to put entrepreneurship on first priorities plans.

This prompted the leaders in various positions in tertiary education instituations to find research fields concerning entrepreneurship as well encourage students to establish small and medium enterprises.

Moreover, Phd students are motivated by their supervisors to make great interests and to conduct solid scientific projects in this area of research.

Eventually, training programs regardling entrepreneurship have been allocated to these students in some universities in Algeria.

This study aimes to examine the effectiveness of the formative days adopted by the entrepreneurship houses in spreading the entrepreneurial spirit of both professor and Ph.D students through answering the following question: What is the effectiveness of the formative days adopted by the houses of entrepreneurship in spreading the entrepreneurial spirit of the university professors and Ph.D students in Algeria? By investigating the main problem and sub-hypotheses, this study divided into two main parts.

The first focuses on review of literature realted to entrepreneurship and the the second illustrates the methodology and results discussion.

The data was collected using a questionnaire from 50 professor and Ph.D students in Mohammad Kheidar University, Biskra, Algeria and was analysed using SPSS to predict and estimate the relationships between the study’s constructs.

The findings indicated that spreading the entrepreneurship spirit has significant effects on local community as well as the positive impacts of small and medium enterprises on the sustainability of the Algerian's economy and its liberation from dependence on the hydrocarbons sector.

Furthermore, there is considerable influences of this trend on professor, particularly, in university where the sample of the study confirmed their benefits from the formative days and helped them to think seriously in the development of their own projects.
