The lean management system is based on the philosophy of resource economy as•a main focus of production processes but without compromising the quality level required.•Lean management aims to achieve zero loss in all areas such as faults, delays, defective product and inventory in all stages of supply, personnel accidents, equipment accidents and personnel effort.•The most important constraints of the lean management are excessive production, waiting time and unnecessary errors.•The most important requirements for the application of lean management are the division of final outputs into smaller units•And work on integrating the outputs of the task forces•To address the constraints of the lean management, it is necessary to intensify communication with international expertise in the field of management and the exchange of information and knowledge.

Research Objectives: The study aims to•Determining the requirements of the application of the lean administration at King Khalid University.•Finding the appropriate solutions and effective treatment of the obstacles to the application of the agile administration at King Khalid University.
