Nous cherchons dans cette contribution à confronter une parole de locuteurs dans un contexte social précis (la ville de Mostaganem) à un positionnement théorique en analyse du discours (Jeanne-Marie Barbéris), où il est concrètement question de vérifier le postulat selon lequel le sujet-locuteur, engagé dans un contexte de conversation artificielle (le cas de l’interview sociolinguistique) ne peut être que «polyphonique», c'est-à-dire traversée par plusieurs sources énonciatives, auxquelles il fait appel, pour faire passer «du discours» selon aussi le contexte de parole, ainsi que les interlocuteurs impliqués dans l’échange verbal.
