The purpose of this study is to identify the provision of information services at the University of the Library of The Open University of the Sudan (OUS), via smart phones from the viewpoint of OUS’s employees, One of the objectives of this study is to determine the extent to which the OUS’s Library benefited from smart phone applications in providing services.

The study relied on data collection for the questionnaire, observation and researcher's experience, Through answering the study's questions, it reached the most important results, which were represented in the poor service requirements of the OUS’s Library via smart phones, because it was not applied in the required form, due to several factors, including financing, which was negatively impacted on the performance of human resources.

The study reached a set of recommendations and proposals to enhance the concept of Librarian information services through smart phones.
