الملخص EN

This study aims at exploring the knowledge sharing by the staff of the library and the manuscript’s house of Al-Abbas Holy Shrine, the management policies towards knowledge sharing, the instruments implemented in knowledge sharing, and the barriers facing such knowledge sharing.

Moreover, the study cast light on the correlation between the staff’s characters and their participation on knowledge sharing, the nature of correlation between the management policy towards knowledge sharing and its application by the staff.

Data collection took place mainly via a structured questionnaire.

The study came to the following conclusions: The directorate of the library and manuscript’s house of the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine in knowledge sharing, the staff of the library implements knowledge sharing in a good way.

Meetings and using the intranet are the most used means for knowledge sharing.

Both the knowledge sharing and personal performance has a spiritual relation with statistical indication.

There is also a relation between knowledge sharing and every dimension of personal performance (work performance, profession development, creation), but there has been no such spiritual relation between application of knowledge sharing and the dimension of the team spirit or the dimension of the development of the workplace.
