There is no doubt that receiving the vertical poem is different from receiving other forms of poetry, especially as it is the inheritor of the oral stage in which poetry was heard by the ear not read with the eye, which makes it a poem that is branded with a tonal character that relies heavily on the rhyme and gives it a central authority in the reception process as a system primarily directed to the ear to induce its love for toning.

it seems that the competition of poetic genres – even if it presents the other two forms (meter and the prose poem) as the inheritor that revolts against the vertical poem - did not completely remove it completely from the map of the poetic reality even if it constrains it in a certain way especially in poetry festivals, as this poem still dominates the stage and still has supporters and devotees whose reception horizon is still formed in accordance with their knowledge and the requirements of their choral nature.
