The current research aims to identify : 1-positive creativity among university students 2-positive thinking among university students 3-the relationship between emotional creativity and positive thinking among university students 4-the difference in the relationship between emotional creativity and positive thinking among university students depending on the variables (gender and specialization).

in order to achieve the current research objectives, the researchers used the everill's(1999) positive measure of emotional creativity and built a positive thinking scale according to Seligman (al.1998).

after extracting their psychometric properties, they were applied to a sample of(400) in the randomized stratified method, after the analysis of the data using the t-test of one sample and the pearson correlation coefficient, and the t-test of two independent samples, the results showed that 1-the university students have a high level of emotional creativity 2-university students have positive thinking high 3-between positive creativity and positive thinking among university students.

4-there are no differences in the relationship between emotional creativity and positive thinking among university students according to the variables (gender and specialization.
