This study aimed at evaluate Islamic education textbooks in United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the light of UNESCO’s standards, evaluate Islamic teachers' skills in teaching Islamic education in the light of UNESCO’s standards and to explore the effect of stage on teaching Islamic education skills in the light of UNESCO’s standards.

The analytical and descriptive survey methodologies were used.

The sample composed of two sub-sample: the first one included (12) Islamic education textbooks for 4th and 5th of first stage, 8 than 9th of second stage and 11th and 12th of secondary stage.

The teaher sample (86) male and female teachers of Islamic education teachers from Abu Dhabi selected by random cluster sample.

To achieve the study goal; the researchers developed two scales: the first was content analysis to analysis Islamic education textbooks in the light of UNESCO’s standards which consisted of (16) standards, while the other was observation card to evaluate Islamic teachers' skills in teaching Islamic education in the light of UNESCO’s standards which consist of (20) items.

Results revealed that the total frequency of the UNESCO’s standards in Islamic education textbooks was (4441) standards which disseminated in Islamic education textbooks with different degrees.

Some of UNESCO’s standards were repeated in all Islamic education textbooks while some of them have no any repetition.

The degree of Islamic teachers' skills in teaching Islamic education in the light of UNESCO’s standards were moderate,
