The historical experience that Morocco experienced during the 19th century was a subject of study and criticism by elite of Moroccan intellectuals at the time.

During this period, Algerian scientists participated in this role of religious and national affiliation and the duty of advice and.

Their writings came as a reaction to the situation in Moroccan society, and were developed in stages under the pressure of the European invasion.

The content of these writings expanded quickly to become a real theory in reviewing the components of the civilizational system, particularly, its basic structures namely, military, political, economic, financial, etc.

In this context, the Algerian scientists who immigrated to Morocco after the entry of the French occupation of their country, made a considerable part of the Moroccan scholars and intellectuals elite.

These latter adopted religious and intellectual courses combining modernization and originalization with the purpose of editing and criticism, to renew the structures, systems, and techniques in order to obtain equal power with the other- the European.

In this article, we try to monitor the contribution of the Algerians to the reform experience in Morocco, based on the personality of Abu Hamid Larbi El mcharfi who lived almost 90 years.

He spent more than half of these years in Morocco, mostly in Fez, in the period between 1843 and 1895, from the reign of Sultan Abdu Rahman Ibn Hisham (1822-1859) to the end of the reign of Sultan Hassan I (1873-1894).

He was witnessed all the developments of his time, from the occupation of Algeria by France to the death of Sultan Mohamed Ibn Abderrahmane.
