The purpose of this research is to study two aphasic cases : a Broca and a Wernicke, in order to analyze the cohesion and the cohercnce in their account.

Three tests are proposed : the first one without visual support (history of the disease) and the two other ones with visual support (tests based on the description of images).

The obtained results have revealed an important disorder in the use of the cohesion tools in the Broca’s accounts which can lead to their global elimination compared to a general preservation of the cohercnce.

Whereas for the WTemicke’s aphasic, the cohesion tools are used a lot compared to a global incoherence in the account.

الملخص FRE

Nous proposons, à travers cet article, de présenter les résultats d’une étude qui a porté sur l’analyse de la cohésion et de la cohérence dans les récits de deux aphasiques.

Trois épreuves ont été proposées : une épreuve sans support visuel (histoire de la maladie) et deux épreuves avec support visuel (épreuves de description d’images).

Les résultats obtenus ont dévoilé un trouble important dans l’utilisation des outils de cohésion qui va jusqu'à leur élimination totale chez le Broca par rapport à une cohérence préservée d’une manière générale.

Alors que chez le Wernicke, les outils de cohésion sont très utilisés par rapport à une incohérence globale du récit.
