Saadi Ibrahim Al-Darraji Center of revival heritage/university of Baghdad Abstract: This study is about the basic designs of Baghdad university from its beginning until 2018 .

it takes care of Baghdad university projects as it was separated building until to built more ones collected under one organization ,the project of Baghdad university started from 1959 and considered as rare one that designed as modern according to world measurements.

The aim of the research is to follow the development of the building that the city have been witnessed through historical stages and stopped on the important architecture projects with stages of completion in basic situation as (Al-Jadiriya, Bab Al-Muatham,Abu Greab) , it have taken care the achievement of balance and completion among unitsas well as free from ancient traditional styles in planning Baghdad university in Al-Jadiriya to arrive to ideal university to be diversity in the field of knowledge , training stages in addition to the nature of scientific searching And taking into account the strict specialization in knowledge.

There is no doubt that this planning achieves great flexibility in the exploitation of space and high efficiency, and flexibility in the face of future developments as well as the economy of buildings through the non-repetition of events.

The educational buildings were designed in the form of assemblies of each as to be open surrounded by different halls of different dimensions bunk rooms dedicated to be offices of professors and some of the management and laboratories.

The design of the buildings has environmental and climatic treatments.

It is divided into small, shaded spaces that are found to provide calm and achieve tranquility to the students through a flexible sequence that starts with theoretical lecture halls and ends in the workshops and laboratories of all classes, taking into account that these halls are highly flexible in change .
