The reason for choosing the book is because it is considered as one of the most important controversial books in which the author of the book collected various linguistic issues that occupied ancient scholars.

Also the research aims to present the controversial issues, classify them, count them and understand the opinions of scholars on them.

In addition the research aims to uncover the capabilities of Ibn Al-Anbari and his wide knowledge.
