Moroccan women resistance of the French colonization is considered one of the leading topics that remained marginalized by the history academic research.

It has not yet attained its sufficient share of research and exploration.

This situation is mainly due to the authority of the written document and text control tendency.

Therefore, this paper attempts to highlight the role that could be played by oral poetry in lighting shadow areas and filling the void in history research in the theme of “the Moroccan resistance of women”, through the extrapolation of a series of poetic oral local texts produced by many poets who lived through this stage.

Some of them even participated in resistance, which touched upon the participation of Moroccan women resistance in battles fought by the resistance movements of Morocco against French colonial forces, especially the famous battle of “Bougafer” that took place in 1933, and the heroic steadfastness shown throughout this unequal military confrontation.

The employment of oral resistance poetry in writing the history of the Moroccan women>s resistance by this paper allows the historian to expand the field of research and thinking , and allows him/her to access the departments and sites not disclosed in written document , thereby completing the construction of an integrated vision .This poetic interpretation does not only provide him/her with the complementary and in-depth historical information and news as contained in the usual familiar sources in historical research , but it also avoids the central perception of the history of the resistance and the interpretation of heroic events and proceedings.

Moreover, this paper doesn’t look into research topics focusing on the individual leader and commander surrounded by an aura of holiness.

It sheds light on the role played by the other social groups, especially women resistant who are rarely mentioned in the written document.

I have tried in this study to answer a number of questions and shed more light on the contributions of women Moroccan resistance in this forgotten history.

It’s oral live poetry of resistant poets which reflected automatically and honestly what monitored academic history tools were unable to show spite of their scientific accuracy and maturity.

In addition, it offers the perspective of the domestic side of Moroccans and their stories about the colonial war on the one hand, and provides us with an important historical asset that reveals the remaining marginalized aspects from the facts of this saga on the other hand, these are documents of big value full of social, economic, political, military and cultural data.
