Mosul is an important Islamic city, and civilized center of all fields, in particular, architecture.

Its buildings are distinguished with elegant building thinking, applied sciences fundamentals were used Its result was a continuous building, it combined between consistence building and view magnificence and environmental coincidence to space preparation agreeable for a human.

Therefore it was target for greedy invaders who wanted to evacuate Mosul from its life and activities.

Unfortunately many of these things were achieved in the outset of the 21ˢᵗ century, in a shape which never happened before.

This research aims to remind readers about Mosul cultural importance, namely introducing its the buildings and explaining the main principles which the architect relied on.

In addition to introduce the huge destruction of the construction of the old city of Mosul.

This study also sheds light on its majesty and colossal of its buildings and the explanation of the destruction.
