This second part of the study entitled « Arabic Linguistics and Phonetics » deals with the syntax in the neo-khalilian theory which, as already seen, is based on a far more abstract level than the one of the « subject-verb-complement », namely the level of governing and governed terms.

This analysis goes up to a level which is even more abstract, namely that of the super-govemment which we find at the discourse level.

Further more, the phenomenon of recursivity is exposed before dealing with the lexical and phonetico-phonological levels.

The study ends up with an analysis of the type of the formalization that is specific to this theory.
