الملخص الإنجليزي

This Study, entitled "Civil Liability resulting from the use of credit card", aimed to shed light on the credit card as a modern means of fulfilling obligations, in light of the importance of this card derived from its widespread in the present time, due to the offering of credit facilities and provide security, safety and easy of handling, as the the credit facilities and ever increasing in its use has led to an increase in cases of misuse in methods and forms difficult to pin down, that may be arise by the owner of card or from third parties, which will be taking place the civil liability for the damage suffered by the card parties.

Hence the importance of this study, especially in the lack of Jordanian legislative texts governing dealing with it.

As the lack of Special legal regulation in the Jordanian legislation, that regulates the dealing with Credit card and governing the liability for use it, this is the most important findings of the study.

The study concluded with the need to find a special legal regulation governing dealing with credit card commensurate with its evolving nature to ensure protection for all parties and take into account the required balance between them, and so as not to resort to a single contract developed by the issuer of the card to serve their interests, and in the light of this, the study was divided into Two chapters, in addition to the introductory chapter by following the analytical descriptive Method in handling of its subject.
