This study aims to evaluate the quality of computerized accounting information systems in the private sector firms in the Republic of Yemen, Hadramaut coast, through a set of standards that reflect the quality of these systems, namely ease of use and learning, realization of user requirements, flexibility and reliability, and user satisfaction.

To achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was designed and distributed to users of computerized accounting systems, 63 questionnaires were distributed, but only 50 were analyzed.

The study results show that computerized accounting information systems used in private firms in Hadramaut coast are of a high level of ease of learning and reliability, and a medium level of ease of use and realization of user requirements and flexibility.

They also indicate that users of these systems are satisfied with their use of such systems.
