Imams and scholars’ opinions differ regarding the similarities and differences in the jurisprudential issues.

This study aims to compare these similarities and differences in Imam Nawawi’s book “Rawdhat Altalibin” and those in Hanbali doctrine through comparing the book of crimes to Hanbali Imam’s arguments.

It was found that the “science of differences” spans over life aspects of Islamic peoples and their development.

It is the science which deals with the aspects of differences and similar jurisprudential issues, examining its types and whatever related to them, how they began and developed.

The crime is defined as the killing, and cutting and wounding, which cause death.

It was also clear that Imam Nawawi’s opinions differ from those of Hanbali scholars, which pinpoints these issues with probing deeply their proofs and consequences.
