الملخص الإنجليزي

The study aimed to reveal the degree of observance of the foundations of the curriculum: philosophical, social, cognitive, psychological and technological in the Arabic language textbooks for the first three grades from the point of view of teachers in the schools of the Directorate of Education in Jerash Governorate.

To achieve the objective of the study, a descriptive approach was used, through a questionnaire consisting of (58) paragraphs, and developed in (5) areas.

The sample consisted of (248) teachers, (179) female teachers, and (69) male teachers, who were chosen by random stratified method to represent the variables of the study.

The study found that the degree of observance of the fundamentals of the curriculum in general was high with an average of (3.86).

and there were no statistically significant differences (α ≤0.05) due to the effect of sex in all fields and in the total score except the field of cognitive bases.

The differences came in favor of females.

There were also significant differences attributed to the impact of the educational qualification in all fields and in the total degree in favor of Bachelor degree and less.

In addition, there was an absence of differences attributable to the impact of years of experience in all areas and in the tool as a whole.

Based on the results, several recommendations were made, including the increased consideration of the fundamentals of globalization and information technology in the development of existing books.
