The question of the Black Panthers’ relationship with Palestine is quickly dismissed.

A discussion of the Black Panthers and the praxis of Palestine’s national liberation, however, permits us to address epistemology.

In the United States, a formal hearing in Congress is principal method by which members of legislative committees collect and analyze information.

The fact that oral evidence is taken under oath, and that textual evidence can be written into the Congressional Record grants information introduced within these hearings a legal status of “justified and true.” In the following discussion, a hypothesis that such information regarding the Black Panther Party rose to the standard of “coincidentally correct” is tested.

So as to limit the scope of this inquiry, assertions regarding the Black Panther Party, the Panthers’ "International Office" in Algiers, and other “Third World Liberation Movements” are considered.

These include South Africa’s Umkhonto weSizwe, Palestine’s Fatah, and, by extension, Algeria’s national liberation struggle as a means to test Gettier’s “Is Justified True Belief Knowledge?”

La question des relations entre les Black Panthers et la Palestine est rapidement écartée.

Une discussion sur les Black Panthers et la praxis de la libération nationale de la Palestine nous permet toutefois de traiter de l’épistémologie.

Aux États-Unis, une audience formelle au Congrès est la principale méthode par laquelle les membres des comités législatifs collectent et analysent des informations.

Le fait que les témoignages oraux soient recueillis sous serment et que les preuves textuelles puissent être inscrites dans le compte rendu du Congrès confère aux informations introduites au cours de ces audiences un statut juridique «justifié et vrai».

Dans la discussion qui suit, une hypothèse selon laquelle ces informations concernant le Black Panther Party a atteint le niveau de «coïncidence correcte» est testé.

Afin de limiter la portée de cette enquête, nous examinons les affirmations relatives au Parti des Black Panthers, au "Bureau international" des Panthers à Alger et à d’autres "Mouvements du tiers monde".

Parmi ceux-ci, citons Umkhonto weSizwe (Afrique du Sud), le Fatah de Palestine et, par extension, la lutte de libération nationale de l’Algérie comme moyen de mettre à l’épreuve le savoir de Gettier sur «Le savoir justifié est-il fondé?»
