This study aims at determining obstacles of utilizing instructional technology in Sana'a University from the point of view of teaching staff and administrative leaders.

It also aims to investigate their views towards the degree of importance of those obstacles.

The sample of the study was formed of (105) members of teaching staff of Faculties of Humanities, (121) members of teaching staff of Faculties of Applied Sciences, and (30) administrative leaders.

A questionnaire was built to investigate study sample views .

Study results showed that teaching staff and administrative leaders agreed that degree of importance of obstacle fields was either (very great) or (great).

They also agreed that items of the fields were of the same degree of importance except a few number of them got (medium) degree.

The results also showed that views of teaching staff of Faculties of Humanities towards the degree of importance of fields and items of obstacles differ according to academic degree and experience.

However, they agreed that the degree of importance of all fields and most of items was either (very great) or (great).

The results also showed that views of teaching staff of Faculties of Applied Sciences were similar.

A number of recommendations were suggested in the light of study results.
