Real estate development is one of the most important development branches, which aims at expanding the housing sector and financing it.

It is a cluster of operations that encompasses the mobilization of real estate and financial resources, as well as the management of real estate projects.

It is enforced by the Algerian Law, No.

11/04, which sets the rules for the promotion of real estate.

Is law aims at advancing real estate development activities, within the mainframe of national policy, in order to achieve a basic law for real estate developers and to control the content of relations between realtor and the client.

In the event of the disruption of this contractual relationship, the lawmaker would transfer the administrative and judicial responsibility to the civil authorities.

Additionally, legal protection and guarantees would be provided, to the client, by imposing administrative and penal sanctions to the real estate developer, under this Act.
