Child labor is a reality that cannot be ignored anymore, as this work may expose this vulnerable category to exploitation that takes several forms; the most important of them being imposing labor on children in an illegal age, and forcing them to do tasks they are physically and psychologically not eligible to accomplish, employing them for long hours in exchange for low or no wages at all, employing them in hazardous conditions or enslaving them, making economic exploitation of the child a phenomena that needs to be confronted, deterred and ceased.

The phenomenon of child labor and economic exploitation is one of the most serious and dangerous problems facing human societies in many countries of the world, starting Arab societies, which urge us to question how to deal with it.

How can protection of children from child labor be assured? This is what we will try to answer through the study of the experience of Algerian legislation and comparative legislation on the protection of children from economic exploitation.
