The aim of this study is to identify the methods and objectives of private sector participation in water management and showing its role in order to accelerate the advancement of economic development, and Achieve desired development rates, Through the presentation of Algeria experience, which was based on the method of "management contracts", where the company "Sial" in Algiers, and "Sewer" in Oran, And the company "Saiko" Constantine, resolved the problem of water distribution disorder and provided daily water 24h/24h and 7 days in week with high and guaranteed quality, According to international standards and assured the final elimination of water leaks, Many new facilities, including the remote control system, have been established, Bringing commercial agencies closer to the client, and facilitating the payment of receivables, This demonstrates the effectiveness of the participatory approach (PPP) in raising the efficiency of water sector management.
