Comedy is a kind of drama that was raised early in the literature and critical studies of the art of theater, where Aristotle described comedy as dealing with a defect and a kiss that does not cause pain or harm, is the sarcastic comic subject, which displays the shortcomings of humans by portraying them in situations of weakness ,This is the kind of comedy or humor that was popular with the era of the beginning of the cinema, specifically between 1911 and 1926, it gave the sensation of the beauty of the animation in a camera without Voice to innovation of this type of drama, which was often based on the actor's ability and its ability to produce the act of locomotion, which makes laughter by the discovery of defects and errors and paradox in the positions of motor movement within the scene, and the technical material in this type of comedy was a rich intellectual material changed the concept The people towards sensitive social and political issues, especially the global capitalism, Nazism and communism, and it drives the individual to take positions and actions and rational analysis of these issues, it was necessary to investigate the scientific art of theater, to study the definition of the concept of this art comedy, On the most important intellectual references to the representatives who created the most famous characters, so focused on the problem of research to explore the concept of silent comedy in philosophical studies, literary and artistic and the examination of the specialists of theater and drama.

The researcher began to present the problem of research and the need for it within the first chapter, which also explained the purpose of the research and the importance of research was to identify the terms contained in the title of the research is very important in determining the paths of knowledge of the researcher, which led to the identification and the development of procedural definitions for each term The second chapter deals with the first two topics in which the researcher discussed the concept of silent comedy art, while the second topic dealt with the intellectual references for representation in the silent comedy.

At the end of the second chapter, the researcher reached a set of indicators that included a number of theoretical ideas in order to invest them In the analysis of the sample of the selected research in the research procedures in the third chapter, and the researcher to talk about two previous studies related to the subject of his research In the third chapter of the procedure, the researcher selected two examples: Comedian Charles Chaplain Charles and Comedian Rowan Atkinson, to study their intellectual references in the production of silent comedy.

The samples were analyzed, followed by the chapter Fourth, which includes the results of the research and its conclusions and recommendations and finally the list of sources adopted by the researcher in his research with a summary in English
