The legal protection of the resistant combatant in international armed conflicts can be summed up in the set of rights enshrined in each of the first three Geneva Conventions of 1949 and the Additional Protocol of 1977, which at the same time constitute obligations for the other party to the conflict.
These rights without the right to the status of a prisoner of war and the right to protection in the event of invalidity or loss, this type of protection reflects the real legal status of the resistance as a combatant and a party to the international armed conflict.
الملخص FRE
La protection juridique du combattant résistant dans les conflits armés internationaux, se traduit par l’ensemble de droits inscrits dans chacune des trois premières conventions de Genève de 1949 et de son protocole additionnel de 1977, qui constituent, en même temps, des obligations pour l'autre partie au conflit.
Ces droits sont : le droit au statut du prisonnier de guerre et le droit à la protection en cas d'invalidité ou de handicape.
Ce type de protection reflète le statut juridique réel du résistant en tant que combattant et partie au conflit armé international.
