L’évolution du service public face à l’État, et à la société civile en Algérie

As soon as Algeria became independent, a socialist state was imposed there.

Its role, which has not been limited to its sovereign function, has continued to expand and has broadened its area of activity to economic and social life, in projected societies like Algeria, the challenge of public services is emblematic of the extreme complexity of the processes of institutional change that have taken place since the independence of a context dominated by a neoliberal ideology presented as the most favourable solution effective and realistic development of societies.

The public service in relation to the state and civil society, in the framework of our analysis raises questions about the future of public service in the light of the new challenges that the Algerian state has to face, especially with transformations of the realities largely ineluctable social.
