The distribution of health services is one of the main topics that medical geographers have occupied in many countries of the world.

They were interested in studying the compatibility of the distribution of these services with the distribution of the population and the nature of their different needs, as well as the availability of the health facility.

This research aims to study the geographical distribution of health services and their appropriateness - distribution - especially to the frequency of the population.

It also tries to identify the extent of the shortage in the availability of health facilities in Hajjah governorate, and to clarify the extent of the gap between the quality of health service delivery to these facilities and the actual needs of the population.

The descriptive analytical as well as the inductive approach were used to analyze the data and reach the drawn results on the quantity and quality of health services distribution in the governorate.

The study found that there is a bias in favor of the most urbanized cities in terms of the existing distribution as well as the general inadequacy of these facilities in relation to the needs of the population and to the low quality of health service provided.

There is also long enough distances among the existed health facilities.
